This tour starts from most points of Pelion and output of Volos. During the short drive we are oving through the most beautiful villages in the country of the Centaurs and the city of the Argonauts.We will go in the village of Dimini, near Volos where an open archaeological site is situated.Next is the ancient city of Iolkos. After the tour we will visit the famous Museum of Volos ATHANASSAKEION. After the museum visit, we will taste the traditional cuisine with seafood in one of the most famous taverns “tsipouradika” at the harborside in Volos. After that our journey continues through the villages-Agria-Lechonia-Malaki Kato Gantzea-Kala Nera along the Gulf of Pagasitikos.

After our arrival in Milies we can visit the local church, which is known for its old icons. Then the visit includes the village of Vizitsa.This village is one of the most famous villages for its traditional architecture and mansions. Here we will make a stop in the picturesque village square to enjoy a coffee or a soft drink in a unique atmosphere.

After drinking coffee, the journey continues on the eastern side of Pelion through the villages of Kalamaki, Xourichti and Labinou. Our next stop is inTsagarada.Tsagarada is one of the largest of the 24 Pelion villages. Then we make a quick walk, in Agia Paraskevi, where the old because of the 1000 years plane, which is outstanding situated in the center of the square.

We then leave the village of Tsagarada, and drive through the village Kissos and through Chania and reach the “Balcony of Pelion” – the mountain villages of Portaria and Makrinitsa Pagasitikos. In Makrinitsa we take a walk through the cobbled streets and visit the shops with folk art and mountain herbs. If you want, we can enjoy a coffee in the village square with panoramic views of Volos.
